MS248 Flail Mulcher for Skid Steer

Our most economical brush mulcher for skidsteers. With adequate flow, the MS248 flail cutter will efficiently cut heavy grass and small diameter brush using 30 flail teeth. Flail teeth will swing back when hitting stones so less damage is done to the flail tooth.
Operating a Brush Mulcher from a skid steer is probably the most comfortable way for vegetation management, as your work is directly in front of you and new skidsteers are very operator-comfort focused.

Hydraulic Flow & Pressure Database

For your convenience Baumalight has Developed a PSI Flow and Pressure database with over 1000 different carrier models to help you decide the best Baumalight model for your machine.

200 SERIES FLAIL TEETH

Currently available on our 200 Series mulchers, these flail type cutters are an economic and efficient way to beat back heavy vegetation and light to moderate brush. Ideally suited for small carriers, these flails provide good cutting performance and great mulching. Bolt-on replaceable for quick and easy servicing, even in the field.

Upgrade to our Heavy Blade Teeth and instantly increase your mulching capacity. These upgraded heavy duty blade teeth are 6mm thick and will allow you to double your brush size mulching capacity without any other equipment adjustments required.

Spiral Tooth Pattern

For smoother mulching, the spiral tool pattern allows one tooth to engage at a time.

Overtorque Protection - Relief Valve

The relief valve protects the motor and the hydraulic system from pressure spikes. When an obstacle is hit the relief valves open and relieves the pressure.

Reinforced Belt

A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. This offers protection from the shocks inherent in mulching.

Powdered Coated

Our powder coat finish is much tougher than conventional paint to stand up to the rigors of mulching and helps prevent rusting.

ARMOURED AND SLEEVED

Baumalight hoses are sleeved for the operator and hose protection. A pivoting arm is also standard with a greaseable pin keeping the slack out of the way which protects the hoses from dangerous pinching and strain.

Anti Slip Strips

For ease of entry and exit from the cab an anti-slip strip gives sure footing.
